“WENHAM (Great), a parish in Samford district, Suffolk: 2 miles WSW of Capel r. station, and 4½ SE of Hadleigh. Post town, Colchester. Acres, 1,123. Real property, £1,980. Pop., 260. Houses, 58. The property is subdivided. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich. Value, £285.* Patron, the Bishop of N. The church is good.”
